Peace, Be Still

“He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, ‘Quiet! Be still!’ Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.” — Mark 4:39

When the storms of life swell around us, we are often quick to yield to fear and uncertainty. Yet Mark 4 points us directly to the sovereign authority of Jesus Christ, who rules over every tempest—both the crashing waves of the sea and the internal anxieties of the human heart.

Inspired by Mark 4:35–41, Contemporary Jesus Calms the Storm Wall Art captures the powerful moment Christ speaks peace over the raging sea. Expressive abstract brushstrokes in rich ocean blues, calm beige, and radiant gold depict light breaking through the dark tempest—a vivid visual reminder of the gospel truth:

The wind and waves still obey His voice.
