Strength and Gentleness United in Christ

Strength and Gentleness United in Christ
Life often presses us into pride without us even noticing. We spot arrogance in others quickly, yet we rarely see the pride hiding in our own hearts. When someone’s boasting offends us, it may not be humility at work—it may be our own pride being challenged. True humility doesn’t despise others, even in their sin. Instead, it grieves over sin—both theirs and ours—and responds with compassion and prayer.

Humility begins with honesty: seeing ourselves as we truly are, with nothing to boast of apart from Christ. Pride builds on illusion, but humility bows before the cross. At the cross, we are stripped of self-deception and find rest in Christ’s mercy.

The Lion and the Lamb remind us that the gospel frees us from pride’s chains and invites us to follow Jesus in humble obedience. In Him, strength is never divorced from gentleness, and power is always clothed with love. This is the way of peace—for our families, our relationships, and our daily walk with God.

This artwork reflects the truth that in Christ, power and gentleness are never opposed.

The art work drew me in. It is beautiful and speaks to those who will linger to observe it. But, the heart of each piece is the gospel. Scripture never returns void. Together they are the epitome of beauty. In addition to the beautiful work, customer service is excellent. If only more companies could adopt their motto, what a joy it would be to always do business. Thank you Lamb’s Love.
